West End Classroom

West End as a Classroom returns for 2013-2014. This program allows students and teachers to visit the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance, the Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture and The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in a single, off-campus trip for $15 per person.

Students will use primary and secondary sources at the three Dallas history museums to explore lessons and attitudes about leadership while using the West End as a Classroom. Covering the 19th century to the present day, students will examine local, national, and international leaders to define the special characteristics that make a leader.
