Plans For The New Building

The City of Dallas Planning Department and the West End Landmark Commission have given formal approval of the building design and plans for the new Museum, to be built on Houston Street adjacent to the DART rail line and the Sixth Floor Museum. The approval represents a major milestone for the Museum and Dallas. Corgan Associates, Inc. of Dallas, a nationally-ranked architectural firm, completed the design of the new building, which will be constructed by The Beck Group of Dallas. The planning for a capital campaign is underway, and details will be announced soon.
