“We teach that indifference is not a neutral choice, value-free or responsibility-free. Indifference never protects the victim--it always aids the perpetrator. Indifference enables the injustice to continue.”
The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance offers a variety of teacher training opportunities. Certified by the Texas Education Agency to issue CPE's to teachers attending any of our educational events, the Museum can assist educators in creating and implementing their own Holocaust educational units and materials.
The Museum/Center offers students a variety of opportunities for education--from contests to lectures. The Museum also offers a Covenant of Remembrance for those celebrating a Bar- or Bat-Mitzvah.
Workshops & Seminars
The Museum/Center offers full day workshops and seminars throughout the year both at the museum and at off-site locations. The workshops include historical background on the Holocaust, use of primary documents, pedagogy, and curriculum use and development.
