“Your support of the Dallas Holocaust Museum/ Center for Education and Tolerance enables the Museum to confront the moral failures that allowed the Holocaust to happen.”

Each generation is faced with monumental challenges and events that change the world. The Holocaust changed the world radically and in many ways. And yet genocide continues. Prejudice surrounds us. Bullying makes headlines on a daily basis.

In response to these circumstances The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance launched the UPSTANDER campaign in 2009. Since its inception thousands of people from North Texas and beyond have walked through our doors and are forever changed by the experience.

More than just an historical exhibit, the DHM/CET is a unique cultural center providing meaningful education on the moral and ethical responses to prejudice, hatred and indifference. Welcoming all age groups, ethnicities and religions, our museum and center offers a safe environment for a healthy discourse about the Holocaust, genocide, and the need for tolerance.

All of our programs are underwritten by private donations. When you become a member of the DHM/CET you have access to the only exhibit in North Texas dedicated to the Holocaust, as well as a variety of engaging educational programming, rare books about the Holocaust through our museum store, and feature film presentations both at the museum and via partnerships with other area organizations.

Further, your membership begins a legacy that will offer educational programming to new generations of UPSTANDERS. Children of all backgrounds and walks of life are impacted by predator-type behaviors of hatred, bullying and prejudice. By educating kids early about the signs of genocide and the methods of tolerance we are not just fulfilling our mission statement -- we are helping building a future of hope.
