Monday, February 27th, 9:00 – 4:00 “Every Child Has a Name” Teacher Workshop—This workshop will be presented at the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance. The focus will be the newly revised “Every Child Has a Name” curriculum, which focuses on the experiences of children in the Holocaust as related in their diaries, and will be an exciting and engaging means to have students involved in historical research, creative writing, and other critical skills. This curriculum directly correlates with our present temporary exhibit of the same name. Historic background will be presented along with hands-on activities for workshop attendees. For ELA, social studies, art, and other disciplines, grades 6 - 12. Up to 6 CPE’s can be earned by attendees.
