Friday, March 16th, 9:00 – 4:00 “Holocaust and Genocide Education in the Secondary Classroom”“Teacher Workshop—This workshop will be presented at the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance. This workshop will provide resources and background material for teachers following the recently edited TEKS and the content of the new testing in the areas of the Holocaust and other 20th century genocides. The curriculum uses mainly primary documents, and teachers will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities using the curriculum.
