Get Up and Give! North Texas Giving Day 2010 is a day when nonprofits with an approved profile are eligible to receive matching funds when donations are made online through DonorBridge. A minimum $25 gift is required for matching funds, but there is no limit above that amount as every gift will be matched.
“This is a great opportunity for the Museum, and we hope our supporters will contribute generously on September 8th through http://www.donorbridgetx.org,” said Museum President and CEO Alice Murray.
Matching funds are provided through the generous contribution and support of many organizations throughout North Texas, including Communities Foundation of Texas, The Meadows Foundation, the Rees-Jones Foundation and The Dallas Foundation. Additional matching funds are still being sought and will be announced as information is available.
DonorBridge is administered by Communities Foundation of Texas, with the support of The Dallas Foundation and the Center for Nonprofit Management. None of these organizations receive any money for overseeing and supporting the North Texas Giving Day. Gifts and grants made on Giving Day will be processed through the Communities Foundation of Texas. Donors will receive an acknowledgement email, as well as an official gift substantiation/tax receipt. Donations will appear on credit card statements, as being payable to “CFT.” The nonprofit will be notified and given the donor’s contact information, unless the donor has stated that they wish to remain anonymous. If you do not receive an email receipt, please contact CFT directly at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), and we investigate, and provide another copy.
