Roger Staubach’s selection as the Museum’s 2010 Hope for Humanity Honoree has received positive media coverage from The Dallas Morning News, The Dallas Business Journal, The Dallas Observer,
and The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The unexpected passing of Museum supporter and Survivor Harry Bock was the subject of a July 14 article in The Dallas Morning News. The family of Mr. Bock, perhaps best known for the retail division of the jewelry business he started, Bachendorfs, asked that Memorials be made in his honor to the Dallas Holocaust Museum.

The Museum received favorable media coverage on July 9 when a hate group from Kansas protested outside the Museum as part of a hate campaign targeting other religious group. Among the media coverage were stories on the local news of Channels 4, 5 and 33, and on the Web site of NBCDFW.com, The Dallas Morning News, and the DallasObserver.com.

The appointment of new Museum Development Director Maria MacMullin was the subject of a June 25th brief in The Texas Jewish Post.

An article on The Museum’s designation as a Blue Star Museum, offering families of active military personnel free admission this summer, appeared in the June 7 edition of The Dallas Morning News NeighborsGo section.
