As part of the Museum’s ongoing effort to provide Holocaust educators the background, pedagogy, and tools necessary to teach their students about this horrific period in history, the Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance is pleased to present a full day seminar with Ephraim Kaye, Director of the International Seminars for Educators at The International School for Holocaust Studies, Yad Vashem, Israel.

Kaye holds a first and second degree in Modern Jewish History and the History of the Holocaust from Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has taught 11th and 12th grade students for 23 years, and has been with Yad Vashem since 1988. He has coordinated and led over 200 international seminars with participants from over 25 countries in 10 different languages. Kaye has also guided more than 17 trips to Poland for high school students, Yad Vashem graduates and IDF officers. He is the author of several books and articles, and he is a frequent conference speaker.

Thanks to the generous funding of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, the DHM is able to offer educators this wonderful opportunity to hear such an acclaimed Holocaust educator. Topics to be presented by Ephraim Kaye include: “How was it humanly possible? The Perpetrators/Bystanders/Collaborators;” “Spiritual and Cultural Resistance during the Holocaust;” and “The Phenomena of Holocaust Denial - Using Educational Tools to Combat these Phenomena”
