Tours

Tours of the exhibit are self-guided using digital Audio Guides, which are included in the price of admission. The audio guides are in English and Spanish (adjusted by the receptionist). The exhibit can take from 30 minutes to 2 hours to view. The information presented in the audio guide is layered and accessed simply by entering the number of each station. Group tours must be scheduled in advance. Pre-registered group tours may use either the audio guides exclusively, have their tour led by a volunteer docent, or arrange for a combination of the two. Please be advised that we cannot guarantee docents as they are volunteers. It will be assumed that all groups will use the audio guides, unless you contact Kathy Chapman at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to request docents.

Group tours must be scheduled in advance by contacting Kathy Chapman, Director of Education by email at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or by using the tour request below.

  • Survivor speakers can be requested for groups of more than 30 people and in grade 7 or above.
  • Survivor testimony is not provided on Saturday due to Jewish Sabbath
  • Survivor Speakers cannot be guaranteed.

For scheduling, we require the following information:

  • Contact information for yourself and for your school or organization (including a fax number)
  • Preferred dates to visit
  • Number in group, including chaperones (at least 1 adult per 20 students is required)
  • School district and TEA region, if applicable

Scheduled Tours should not be considered finalized unless the group leader has received a confirmation letter.

*Please be aware that Speakers are not available for grades under 7th. However, optional films for younger students may be available, if the schedule allows.
