The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance has announced the hiring of Dr. Sara Abosch, an experienced Holocaust educator with an extensive research and publishing background in Jewish culture and history, as the new Senior Director of Education, effective July 2nd.
Dr. Abosch will oversee the DHM/CET’s Education Department. Her credentials for the position include a PhD in modern European and Jewish history, an MA in modern British and Jewish history, and an MA in Political Science with a concentration in Civil/Military Relationsâ€“ all fields germane to the work of the Senior Director of Education. Since 2009, Dr. Abosch has been the David Bornblum Visiting Scholar in Judaic Studies at the University of Memphis in Tennessee.
In addition to her research and publishing accomplishments, she has extensive teaching experience at the university, college, and preparatory school (10th and 12th grades) levels.
